Manila: Two people, including a four-year-old girl, were killed, and several others injured after a car crashed into the entrance of Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippine capital, Manila. According to Qatar News Agency, the Philippine Red Cross, citing local airport officials, reported that the accident occurred when a vehicle crashed into the perimeter fence and entered the taxiway near the entrance to Terminal 1 of the airport. The impact of the crash led to immediate fatalities and injuries among those present at the site.
The Philippine Red Cross stated that the accident resulted in two deaths, while at least one person received medical assistance on the ground. Emergency response teams were quick to arrive at the scene to provide necessary aid to the victims and to secure the area.
