GAZA CITY: Two Palestinians were martyred Sunday morning in Israeli airstrikes that targeted northern and southern Gaza.
According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian medical sources reported the death of one Palestinian in an Israeli airstrike on the Masbah area, north of Rafah city in southern Gaza. Additionally, journalist Mohammed Hijazi was martyred due to an airstrike on his home in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Civil Defense reported several injuries resulting from an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Israeli aircraft also executed an airstrike south of Khan Yunis, while an Israeli drone dropped a bomb near a school north of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza had risen to 45,717 martyrs and 108,856 injured since October 7, 2023. The Ministry also reported that the occupation forces had committed four massacres against families in Gaza, with 59 martyrs and 273 injured being transferred to hospitals in the past 24 hours.
