DOHA: The 23rd session of the Qatari-Omani Joint Committee concluded its proceedings in Doha, marking the end of a two-day meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral ties. The session was co-chaired by he Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari for Qatar and HE Minister of Finance Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi for Oman, focusing on enhancing cooperation in economic, trade, and investment sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the committee reviewed several joint projects and discussed new proposals to bolster cooperation and encourage investments in various sectors, including agriculture, energy, communications, transport, tourism, banking, and education. The meeting served as a platform for both nations to explore avenues to further their mutual interests and reinforce their partnership in these key areas.
The Qatari-Omani Joint Committee first convened in Doha in April 1995. Since then, the meetings have been held alternately in Qatar and Oman, underscoring the enduring relationship between the two countr
