Kyiv: Three people were killed and 29 others injured on Sunday in a Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.
According to Qatar News Agency, Ukraine's Emergency Service reported that Kyiv was attacked by Russian forces for the second time in the past 24 hours. Russian forces carried out a drone strike in the Desnianskyi district. At one location, the drone struck a nine-story residential building.
A Russian military drone struck a 16-story building, shattering windows of the first nine floors. Reports also indicate that a drone struck a multi-story building in the Obolonsky district. Drone strikes between Russia and Ukraine have become routine in the context of the ongoing conflict, which remains far from a political solution, given Moscow's insistence on continuing its military operation in Ukraine until its declared goals are achieved.
