Fukushima:An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Japan's Fukushima Prefecture Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Japan Meteorological Agency reported that the tremor occurred at a depth of 60 kilometers. There have been no immediate reports of casualties or material damage.
Last night, a 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Japan's Ogasawara Islands. Japan, located at the junction of four tectonic plates, is particularly prone to seismic activity and is home to 100 active volcanoes.
