Harnai: A gas explosion in a coal mine in Pakistan killed four people and injured five others. According to Qatar News Agency, the explosion occurred Sunday night at a mine in Harnai town, northeast of Balochistan, and resulted in miners being trapped inside and losing their lives.
The report highlighted that Pakistan Army rescue teams were able to recover the bodies of the four miners and rescue five others who sustained injuries. Such incidents are prevalent in Pakistan's coal mines, especially in the country's largest province located in the south.
The region has witnessed similar tragic events in the past, with a notable incident in July where an explosion at a coal mine in the Balochistan province claimed the lives of 34 miners.
