An earthquake measuring 5.3 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Fiji on Sunday. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said that the earthquake occurred south of coast of Fiji Islands, at a depth of 500 km. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far. Fiji is located along the Pacific Ring of Fire, making it exposed to many tremors and aftershocks that may be strong at times. Source: Qatar News Agency
