Doha: A 6.0 magnitude earthquake jolted East Java province in Indonesia on Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the quake's epicenter was located about 32 kilometers off the southeastern coast of Kalianget at a depth of 14 kilometers.
There are no immediate reports of casualties or damage so far.
Indonesia frequently experiences earthquakes due to its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire, where multiple tectonic plates meet, causing regular volcanic and seismic activity.
