Damascus, Algerians residing in Syria turned up at the Embassy of Algeria in Damascus on Monday to take part in the presidential elections in their country. The Algerian ambassador in Damascus, Kamal Boushama said in a statements to SANA after casting his vote that voting is a right of all citizens in Algeria and abroad, and indicated that Algerians living in Damascus headed to the Embassy of his country to exercise their electoral right, cast their vote and choose their candidate in the presidential elections. The diplomat also pointed out that due to their large number, the elections will be held over a period of six days to give the opportunity to all Algerians living in the various Syrian provinces to participate in the elections.
