American Jessica Pegula Advances to Berlin Open Final with Triumph Over Aryna Sabalenka

Doha: American Jessica Pegula, ranked fourth in the world, qualified for the Berlin Open final for the second time on Saturday after a victory over Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the top seed, in three sets.

According to Qatar News Agency, Pegula secured the 6-2, 6-7 (4-7), 6-0 win to book her place in the final against the winner of the match between Czech Linda Noskova and Filipino Alexandra Eala, which takes place later today.

In their first grass-court meeting, Pegula achieved only her fourth victory over the Belarusian, capitalizing on the four-time Grand Slam champion's errors, particularly on her forehand, during the first three games.
