New York:HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani participated in a multilateral meeting organized by the United States at the United Nations headquarters in New York, coinciding with the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting included several prominent leaders and officials such as HE US President Donald Trump, HM King Abdullah II of Jordan, HE President of Syria Ahmed Al Sharaa, HE President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and other key figures from Kuwait, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain.
The discussions focused on recent developments affecting security in the Middle East, their impact on both regional and international stability, and consequences for energy supplies and the global economy. Participants also explored strategies for the post-war phase and emphasized the importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic solutions to achieve peace and stability.
HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, along with other members of Qatar's official delegation, also attended the meeting.
