Damascus, Syrian Investment Authority has granted a new investment license for producing plastic wood of various types and forms in Hasya industrial city in Homs province. The estimated cost of the project exceeds 18 billion Syrian pounds, and its annual production capacity is 1300 tons, and it provides 41 job opportunities, the authority said in a statement. The project aims to produce wooden varieties of high quality and durability, consisting of a mixture of plastic fibers with natural wood, which gives them the flexibility of plastic, hardness and durability of wood, and these products are used in the facades, terraces, wood houses and decorations.
