Cairo: The Behavioral Healthcare Center (Daam), member of Qatar Foundation for Social Work, wrapped up its awareness campaign on the principle of respect, launched back in April.

According to Qatar News Agency, the campaign was held in cooperation with the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association, the QatarDebate Center, and Al Thuraya Planetarium - Katara. It concluded its activities at Al Obaib Primary School for Girls, involving Sustainable Development Goals Ambassadors and various participating schools.

The awareness campaign engaged 1,200 students from 45 schools across primary, preparatory, and secondary cycles. It aimed to instill the principle of respect through a comprehensive array of educational and awareness activities.

The campaign included lectures on self-respect and respecting others, a film screening, relevant readings, and interactive quizzes. Additionally, a puppet theater performance addressed self-confidence and respect. Students also participated in drawing and coloring activities and designed instructional posters on respect and social responsibility.

The program concluded with a screening of a series titled "Family Diaries," which highlighted daily positive behavior. The campaign achieved widespread reach and remarkable success by strengthening partnerships among educational and community institutions. It underscored the importance of joint efforts in promoting morality and forming a conscious and responsible new generation capable of giving back to the community and serving the country.
