Arab World Institute in Paris Announces Finalists for 2026 Design Awards

Paris: The Arab World Institute (Institut du Monde Arabe) has announced the shortlisted projects across all categories of its 2026 Design Awards, including the Emerging Talent Award, Contemporary Craftsmanship Award, Impact Award, Arab Swiss Bank Award, and the Grand Prize.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Design Awards, established by the Paris-based Arab World Institute, recognise innovative achievements in design, architecture, and craftsmanship. They aim to support emerging talent and honour designers, architects, and emerging brands from the Arab world. The awards also celebrate the region's expertise and diverse cultural identities.

The winners of the awards will be announced during a ceremony at the Arab World Institute (IMA) on 9 September, as part of Paris Design Week. In addition, all shortlisted projects will be showcased in a public exhibition at the institute from 3 to 20 September.

The Arab World Institute Design Awards were launched in 2023 to spotlight the work of both emerging and established designers from the Arab world. They aim to foster cultural and artistic exchange between the Arab world and France.
