Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced the completion of 47 pedestrian bridges and tunnels across Qatar to enhance road safety and ease pedestrian movement.
According to Qatar News Agency, the projects were carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Transport and span key corridors and densely populated areas, including Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor, Al Furousiya Street, and the Corniche, as well as West Bay, Muaither, and Al Markhiya.
The projects also cover major gathering points such as shopping malls, stadiums, and sports facilities, targeting high-traffic areas.
