Post: Awqaf Minister stresses the important role of religious institutions in Arab and Islamic world

Riyadh, Minister of Awqaf (Islamic Endowments), Dr. Mohammad Abdul-Sattar al-Sayyed underscored the importance of exerted efforts of religious institutions and their role in the Arab and Islamic world, especially nowadays in the age of modernity and social media. Al-Sayyed was speaking during his championship of the 2nd day session of Endowments and Islamic Affairs conference. He said that Religious institutions must be ready to deal with this new reality and its effects on youth and society as a whole. The minister pointed out the most important proposed means for coordination between the ministers of endowments and Islamic affairs on combating extremism and consolidating the values of moderation.
