Post: Bahrain, Italy discuss economic cooperation

Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, met with representatives of the Italian banking group, Intesa Sanpaolo. The meeting came on the sidelines of the parliamentary delegation's participation in the Marrakech Parliamentary Economic Forum for the Euro Mediterranean and Gulf region, held in Morocco. The Speaker emphasised the importance of parliamentary support to advance economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. He commended the strong Bahraini-Italian relations, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
