BDF Commander-in-Chief meets senior officers

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), met with a number of senior BDF officers.

Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, and Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, BDF Chief of Staff, attended the meeting.

The meeting started with praying for eternal peace to the souls of the fallen servicemen and for speedy recovery to the injured.

The commander-in-chief was briefed on updates of BDF plans and programmes.

He affirmed that the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, enabled the BDF to continue developing and modernising all its units and combat capabilities.

The commander-in-chief hailed the devoted BDF servicemen who continue to valiantly carry out their national duties.
