Britain’s Jack Draper Withdraws from Queen’s Club Tennis Tournament

London: Jack Draper of Britain announced on Tuesday his withdrawal from next week's Queen's Club tennis tournament, an ATP Tour event, noting that he would delay his return to the court for another week following his recovery from a knee injury to focus on competing at Wimbledon. The British No. 3 has not played a competitive match since retiring from the Barcelona Open on clay in April.

According to Qatar News Agency, Draper had previously reached the semifinals at the 2025 Queen's Club tournament. His decision to withdraw indicates a strategic choice to prioritize his health and preparation for Wimbledon, one of the most prestigious events in the tennis calendar. This development is significant for Draper, who is aiming to make a strong comeback on the grass courts after a hiatus due to injury.
