Casualty Toll Due to Israeli Aggression on Gaza Reaches 61,258 Martyrs, 152,045 Wounded

Gaza: The casualty toll due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 61,258 martyrs and 152,045 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza stated Thursday that, during the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Strip received 100 martyrs, including two of whom were recovered, as well as 603 wounded people. It noted that there are still many victims under the rubble, with ambulances and civil defense crews unable to reach them due to a lack of accessibility and equipment.

The Ministry added that the number of Palestinian martyrs who were seeking aid reached 51 during the past 24 hours, in addition to 230 wounded, raising the toll of martyrs who were seeking aid to 1,706 martyrs and more than 12,030 wounded.

The casualty toll since March 18, when the occupation breached the ceasefire agreement, has reached 9,752 martyrs and 40,004 wounded, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. The Israeli occupation continued its destructive war on Gaza on March 18, following a two-month pause, targeting different areas in the Strip that is facing severe famine and an unprecedented humanitarian condition that the world has not seen for decades.
