CENTCOM: New Wave of Strikes against Iran Begun

Doha: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that a new round of strikes against Iran began today, marking the 10th consecutive day of military operations.

According to Qatar News Agency, CENTCOM stated in a post on X that the strikes aim to degrade Iranian military capabilities. These capabilities have been reportedly used to attack commercial shipping in the strategic Strait of Hormuz. The ongoing operations underscore escalating tensions in the region, with the focus on maintaining security and freedom of navigation in one of the world's most vital maritime chokepoints.
