China Launches New Batch of Satellites into Space

China: China launched a new batch of satellites into low-Earth orbit Wednesday, aboard a Long March-5B carrier rocket from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in the southern province of Hainan. The rocket successfully placed the satellites into the predetermined orbit.

According to Qatar News Agency, this is the eighth batch of satellites that will form China's internet constellation. This launch is the 588th mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
