China’s Fixed-asset Investment Rises 3.7% in First Five Months of 2025

Beijing: China's fixed-asset investment increased by 3.7% year-on-year in the first five months of 2025, as reported by official data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

According to Qatar News Agency, excluding the property sector, the country's fixed-asset investment experienced a more significant growth of 7.7% year-on-year during this period. Infrastructure investment saw a rise of 5.6% year-on-year, while manufacturing investment showed an increase of 8.5%.

Investment by industry indicated that the primary industry experienced an 8.4% year-on-year growth, and the secondary industry saw an 11.4% increase. However, the tertiary industry recorded a 0.4% decrease in investment.
