Beijing: China's manned space agency announced on Friday that the Shenzhou-22 spacecraft has undocked from the country's space station, beginning its return mission to bring astronauts Zhang Lu, Wu Fei, and Zhang Hongchang back to Earth. The spacecraft is expected to land at the Dongfeng site in Inner Mongolia.
According to Qatar News Agency, before departure, the Shenzhou-21 crew completed a series of tasks, including station maintenance, data transfer, supply handovers, and in-orbit coordination with the Shenzhou-23 crew, which arrived at the station on May 25.
China launched Shenzhou-22 on Nov. 25 last year from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.
