Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views regarding the situations in Gaza, the Korean peninsula, and Myanmar. This came during a meeting that brought together both ministers, held on the sidelines of the 57th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting held in Vientiane, Laos. China's Xinhua news agency reported that the Chinese and US foreign ministers agreed to maintain communication at all levels and further implement the important common understandings reached at the San Francisco meeting last November between the two heads of state.
