Post: Closure of Lebanese University branches in Sidon, Nabatieh & Tyre tomorrow

The President of the Lebanese University, Dr. Bassam Badran, announced in a statement, the closure of the university branches in Sidon, Nabatieh and Tyre tomorrow, Monday, September 23, 2024, following the decision of the Minister of Education and Higher Education, which left the directors of schools, institutes, and universities free to assess the security situation in terms of opening or closing educational institutions. This decision came in light of the state of instability resulting from the continued Israeli attacks, and to preserve the safety of students, professors, and employees.
