Jerusalem:Hundreds of colonists entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate on Tuesday morning, heavily guarded by Israeli occupation forces. They engaged in Talmudic rituals, prayers, group songs, and applause within the mosque's courtyards.
According to Qatar News Agency, WAFA news agency reported that these activities took place under the protection of the occupation police. In addition, there were incidents where colonists beat and dragged Palestinians in the Bab Al-Amoud area, sharing videos of these actions on social media.
These incursions are happening alongside increased military measures by occupation authorities around Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City, which has resulted in restrictions on the entry and movement of worshippers. Throughout September 2026, there have been repeated incursions into the mosque, with the latest occurring on Monday, involving 1,731 colonists.
Data from the Jerusalem Governorate indicates that over 40,661 colonists have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the start of 2026 until the end of August. Meanwhile, approximately 800 decisions have been made to remove Jerusalemites from the mosque in the same period up to early September.
