Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 62,122 martyrs, in addition to 156,758 wounded, the majority of whom are children and women.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 58 martyrs over the past 24 hours, including two whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble, in addition to 185 injured. The statement noted that the death toll and injuries recorded since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, have risen to 10,576 martyrs, in addition to 44,717 injured.
The ministry also indicated that the number of aid victims who arrived at hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 22 martyrs and 94 injured, bringing the total number of aid victims who arrived at hospitals to 2,018, and the total number of injured to 14,947. Meanwhile, hospitals recorded three deaths due to famine and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 269, including 112 children.
The ministry noted that there were additional victims of the aggression under the rubble, as ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them due to the targeting of the occupation forces and the lack of equipment and logistical capabilities.
