Death Toll from Israeli Aggression on Gaza Rises to 73,016

Gaza city: Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced Wednesday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 73,016, in addition to 173,265 wounded since the start of the aggression on Oct. 7, 2023.

According to Qatar News Agency, hospitals in the sector received two new bodies and five injured people over the past 24 hours. The data highlights the continuing impact of the conflict on the civilian population in Gaza.

The sources further reported that since the ceasefire on Oct. 11, the death toll has risen to 1,005, while the total number of injuries has reached 3,157. Additionally, 784 bodies have been recovered during the same period.

The situation remains dire, with numerous victims still trapped under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams face challenges reaching them. The ongoing inability to access certain areas exacerbates the humanitarian crisis in the region.
