Death Toll from Unabated Israeli Aggression Against Gaza Rises to 61,897

Gaza: The death toll from the unrelenting Israeli offensive operations in the Gaza Strip, since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 61,897, with 155,660 reported injured, mostly women and children.

According to Qatar News Agency, paramedics, civil defense rescuers, and the Palestinians delivered 70 martyrs to Gaza hospitals, among them 8 who were recovered from under the rubble, along with 385 wounded during the latest 24-hour reporting period, a statement by Gaza's Ministry of Health reported today.

The statement noted that the number of martyrs and wounded recorded since the Israeli breach of the ceasefire on March 18 has surged to 10,362 martyrs and 43,619 wounded.

It added that the toll of victims among food-seekers has climbed to 26 martyrs and 175 wounded over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 1,924 martyrs and 14,288 wounded.

These field developments come in the wake of famine expansion in all areas across Gaza, and international demands for the Israeli occupation to open the crossings of the enclave and allow the flow of humanitarian aid for Gazans.
