The death toll from an Israeli raid on the town of Ayto in the Zgharta district in northern Lebanon has risen to 21. The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that the Israeli raid on the town of Ayto killed 21 people and injured 8 others with varying degrees of injury. The ministry had previously reported today that the raid had initially killed 9 people and injured another. Lebanon has been subjected to Israeli aggression since October 2023, but in recent days the Israeli entity has increased the pace of air and artillery bombardment in an unprecedented manner, and expanded the scope of its targeting to extend to the capital, Beirut, which has led to the killing and wounding of thousands of Lebanese, in addition to forcing more than a million people to flee their homes.
