Doha: A delegation from the Central Authority for Control and Inspection of the Syrian Arab Republic, led by Amer Al Ali, visited Qatar's Public Prosecution.
According to Qatar News Agency, the delegation received a briefing on the jurisdiction and responsibilities of the Economic Crimes and Money Laundering Prosecution. This briefing emphasized the unit's efforts to investigate corruption cases and prosecute financial crimes.
The Public Prosecution also presented a detailed overview of the Criminal Studies Institute's responsibilities and achievements, underscoring its role in legal education and professional training for national legal personnel.
The visit was part of an initiative to strengthen cooperation, exchange expertise, and deliver specialized presentations. At the end of the visit, the Syrian delegation praised the Public Prosecution's role and efforts in advancing the legal framework and enhancing oversight mechanisms.
