DOHA: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning about deteriorating visibility conditions in certain areas, predicting hazy and relatively cold weather inshore until Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. Mist and fog are expected to develop in some locations late at night, contributing to poor horizontal visibility.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will also be hazy with intermittent cloudiness. The wind inshore will primarily be northeasterly to southeasterly at speeds of 3 to 10 knots, shifting to variable directions by late night. Similarly, offshore winds will range from southeasterly to northeasterly at 3 to 10 knots.
Visibility is expected to range between 4 to 9 kilometers but may reduce to 2 kilometers or less in some areas by late night. The Department of Meteorology advises residents to exercise caution due to the potential for reduced visibility, particularly for those traveling or commuting during nighttime and early morning hours.
