Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning for strong wind and high sea conditions both inshore and offshore until 6:00 pm on Thursday. Inshore weather is expected to feature strong winds during the daytime, with moderate temperatures and slight dust, transitioning to relatively cold conditions with some clouds by night.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will include strong winds and a high sea with scattered clouds. The wind inshore is expected to be variable northwesterly at 10-20 knots, with gusts reaching up to 25 knots in certain areas during the daytime, decreasing to 5-12 knots by night. Offshore winds will be northwesterly at 12-22 knots, with gusts potentially reaching 30 knots at times.
The sea state inshore is anticipated to be between 3 to 5 feet, while offshore, it is expected to range from 3 to 7 feet, occasionally rising to 10 feet. Visibility inshore is predicted to be between 5 to 9 kilometers, and offshore visibility will range from 4 to 10 kilometers.
