Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) indicate various fluctuations across different currencies and tenors. The rates are specified for USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD, covering periods of 1 month (1M), 2 months (2Ms), 3 months (3Ms), 6 months (6Ms), and 12 months (12Ms).

According to Qatar News Agency, the USD deposit rates start at 3.73983% for 1M and rise to 4.14685% for 12Ms. The JPY rates remain stable at 0.95000% up to 6Ms, with a slight increase to 1.37000% for the 12Ms period. CHF rates show a negative yield for shorter tenors, starting at -0.13000% for 1M and moving to a positive yield of 0.20000% at 12Ms. GBP rates begin at 3.67000% for 1M and increase to 4.51000% for 12Ms.

In local currencies, QAR rates start at 4.00000% for 1M and decrease to 3.75000% for 12Ms. SAR rates vary from 4.50000% for 1M to 4.60000% for 12Ms. AED rates begin at 2.05000% for 1M and climb to 3.15000% for 12Ms. BHD rates start at 4.60000% for 1M and rise to 4.85000% for 12Ms.
