Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in Britain-GCC Ministerial Meeting

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, participated in the joint ministerial meeting between GCC countries and Britain, which was held today, in Chevening.

During the meeting, they reviewed the strategic relations between the GCC countries and Britain, and ways to support and develop them, especially in the fields of trade, economy and investment.

A number of regional and international issues of common interest were also reviewed, and views were exchanged on the latest international developments.

The historical and strategic partnership between the Gulf countries and Britain is witnessing a remarkable development in various fields, and the two sides are working to continue coordination to confront security and peace challenges, enhance stability in the region, and support international efforts to combat terrorism.
