Doha: HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani participated in the third plenary session of the Shangri-La Dialogue 2026, held in Singapore under the theme "Asia's Maritime Security Disorder."
According to Qatar News Agency, the session was chaired by Director-General and Chief Executive of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Dr. Bastian Giegerich. The discussion included notable speakers such as HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Australia, Richard Marles, and HE Minister for Armed Forces and Veterans of France, Catherine Vautrin.
His Excellency also took part in the ministerial roundtable, which included 34 other ministers responsible for defense and security from around the world.
