Draw for FIFA Arab Cup, FIFA U-17 World Cup 2025 to be Held on Sunday

Doha: The Local Organizing Committee for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 and the U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 announced that the draw for the two tournaments will be held on Sunday. The ceremony marks an important step in the journey to host these tournaments, with attendance expected from football stars from Qatar, the region, and the world.

According to Qatar News Agency, sixteen Arab teams will participate in the Arab Cup, scheduled to take place from December 1-18. Nine teams have automatically qualified based on their FIFA rankings, including host nation Qatar and defending champion Algeria. The remaining seven teams will secure their spots through qualifiers in November.

The Under-17 World Cup is set to feature 48 teams, a first in FIFA and World Cup history. Participants will compete in 104 matches over 25 days. Qatar is slated to host five consecutive editions of the tournament, continuing until 2029.
