EAA Foundation to Address Global Education and Inclusivity Challenges at Doha Summit

Doha: The Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, an international education and development organization, is set to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development, scheduled to take place in Doha from November 4 to 6, 2025.

According to Qatar News Agency, EAA Foundation will convene six high-level sessions with strategic partners, focusing on education challenges, youth empowerment, climate resilience, and inclusive economic growth. This effort underscores the Foundation's commitment to ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all.

On November 4, the Silatech programme will collaborate with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) to host a session titled "An Introspective Look: From Challenges to Solutions for Advancing Youth Economic Empowerment Programming." This session aims to assess youth employability and employment programming, contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. The event will explore solutions to address youth unemployment by promoting innovative approaches to decent work and social inclusion, emphasizing the need for responsive youth employability programmes and policies.

Simultaneously, the Al Fakhoora Programme, in collaboration with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and Al Jazeera Media Network, will lead a session on "Unheard, Unseen, Unstoppable: Rethinking Social Progress Through the Lens of Displaced Youth." This discussion will examine how education in crises can restore purpose, explore reintegration solutions, and how media can reshape narratives around displacement to highlight the strength and determination of young people emerging from conflict.

Additionally, the Silatech programme, together with the World Food Programme (WFP), Qatar Fund For Development, and the Government of Kenya, will participate in a session titled "Unlocking Skills, Employment, and Resilient Food Systems in Kenya." The event will focus on how partnerships between governments, international organizations, and the private sector can enhance economic inclusion, promote sustainable livelihoods, and position Kenya as a model for climate-resilient development.

On November 5, EAA Foundation, in partnership with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) netFWD, will host a session titled "From Silos to Synergy: Unlocking Education Financing Through Philanthropy." This session will explore how Public-Private-Philanthropy Partnerships can bridge the global education financing gap and expand access to quality learning, particularly in the Global South. It will highlight philanthropy's role in fostering collaboration between foundations and development partners.

Furthermore, the Reach Out To All (ROTA) programme, along with the Silver Lining for the Needy Initiative (SLNI), UNDP, UNICEF, and the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), will host a session titled "Learning for Climate Resilience: Integrated Pathways for Poverty Eradication, Jobs, and Inclusion." This panel will demonstrate how education empowers youth and women in fragile and climate-affected areas to build a more inclusive and sustainable future.

On November 6, the Educate A Child (EAC) programme will collaborate with UNICEF to hold a session on "Education as a Key Pillar for Poverty Eradication, Employment, and Social Inclusion." This session will focus on education's role in breaking poverty cycles and fostering inclusive societies, highlighting the importance of collective investment and cross-sectoral collaboration in global social development agendas.

CEO of EAA Foundation, Mohammed Al Kubaisi, noted, "The Second World Summit for Social Development provides a unique platform to strengthen global partnerships for social progress. Our sessions reflect EAA's conviction that education, when pursued through inclusive, innovative, and collaborative approaches, can drive tangible change across nations and generations."
