EAA to Organize “Walk for Education” Event in Support of Children’s Educational Projects Worldwide

Doha: Education Above All (EAA) Foundation announced that it will host the Walk for Education: CSR and Sustainability Fair, on Jan. 24, 2025, in collaboration with the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA). Themed “Help Educate Children,” the event aligns with the UN International Day of Education and aims to raise awareness and funds to support EAA’s projects providing quality education to vulnerable and marginalized children worldwide.

According to Qatar News Agency, the fair is expected to bring together over 10,000 community members at MIA Park, including school students and representatives of private corporations. It will feature three symbolic walks, each led by corporate partners, in addition to football tournaments, cultural shows, and workshops on Arabic calligraphy and fine arts.

Through the “Buy a Brick and Build a School” campaign, individuals can make donations to help build two schools for underprivileged and vulnerable children in Qatar. The event offers private companies an opportunity to contribute through sponsorship categories ranging from QR5,000 to QR200,000.

Director of Communications and Private Sector Partnerships at EAA Foundation, Parintaj Ankleshvria, stated that the Walk for Education Fair exemplifies the power of partnerships in driving quality education and sustainable development. The event aims to unite schools, private corporations, and the broader community to create learning opportunities that empower underprivileged children to realize their potential.

The event will also dedicate food and beverage kiosks in support of EAA’s projects in Qatar, highlighting the importance of social solidarity in achieving an enduring and positive impact.
