Al-Mustaqbal Primary Girls School finished first in the primary school category in the UN Sustainable Development Goals Champions of Change project competition (Green Earth, Healthy life).
Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma congratulated the school, teaching and administrative staff, as well as students and parents on the achievement.
He noted Bahrain’s school achievements and strides, paying tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for their support to the education sector.
The competition which was held remotely, was organized by the Global Twenty-First Century Skills Committee, the two American platforms Weeklet and Book, and the British SPSC organization.
The Al-Mustaqbal Primary Girls School for Girls outclassed 100 other schools from 45 countries to rank first in the contest
The minister praised the school’s projects which provide innovative solutions to the challenges of achieving sustainable development goals in terms of clean energy, climate action, industry, innovation, and ensuring quality education for all, including designing a sustainable city through the Minecraft educational application.
