Egypt and Saudi Arabia Call for Immediate Halt to Regional Escalation and Ensure Safe Passage Through Hormuz

Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah engaged in a phone conversation on Monday, emphasizing the necessity for an immediate stop to escalating actions that could lead to a broader regional conflict.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement asserting that both ministers denounced the ongoing Iranian assaults on several Arab nations, including the Gulf countries and Jordan. This group serves as a vital platform for dialogue, coordination, and support in efforts to manage tensions and bolster regional security and stability.
