Eight Injured in Explosion Targeting Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa


BANNU: Eight people, including six police officers, were injured in an explosion that targeted a police patrol in the Bannu district of northwest Pakistan, according to local reports.



According to Qatar News Agency, the explosive device detonated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, specifically targeting a police patrol unit. The blast resulted in injuries to eight individuals, among them six members of the police force. All injured parties were promptly transported to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment.



In response to the attack, security forces quickly arrived at the site, establishing a cordon to secure the area. A comprehensive search operation was initiated in an effort to locate and apprehend any militants responsible for the attack. Authorities are actively investigating the incident to determine the perpetrators behind the explosion.
