Post: European Stock Indexes See Mixed Results Amid Rising Oil Prices

Doha: European stock indexes closed mixed at the end of trading on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the benchmark pan-European STOXX 600 index concluded the session with a slight decline of 0.01 percent. In contrast, the European energy sector subindex experienced an increase of 1.2 percent, supported by a rise in oil prices.

In the UK, the FTSE 100 saw a decrease of 0.08 percent, ending the day at 10,822.13 points. Similarly, Switzerland's benchmark index experienced a decline of 0.8 percent.

Germany's DAX index fell by 0.25 percent, closing at 25,981.79 points. Meanwhile, Italy's FTSE MIB index rose by 0.25 percent, showcasing some positive movement amid the mixed results.

France's CAC 40 index showed a more noticeable increase, closing 0.44 percent higher at 8,313.32 points, reflecting a positive trend in the French market.
