London: Europe's benchmark stock index ended trading today near a record high. According to Qatar News Agency, the pan-European STOXX 600 was largely unchanged at 660.45 points. The basic resources sector experienced a gain of 0.9 percent in today's trading session. In contrast, media stocks saw a decline of 1.6 percent, with shares of its French rival Publicis Groupe losing 1.4 percent.
