Gaza strip: A five-year-old Palestinian child died of famine this evening in the Gaza Strip, according to sources at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported earlier today that the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip had risen to 222, including more than 100 children.
Since March 2, the occupation authorities have closed all crossings leading to the Gaza Strip, preventing the entry of most food and medical aid. This has led to widespread famine in the Strip, which has been subjected to a genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation since Oct. 7, 2023.
