Doha:Finance Minister Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari conducted individual meetings with finance ministers from Tanzania, Nepal, and Bangladesh during the 2026 annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) hosted in Qatar.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Kuwari met with Khamis Mussa Omar, the Finance Minister of Tanzania, Dr. Swarnim Wagle, the Finance Minister of Nepal, and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, the Finance Minister of Bangladesh.
The discussions centered around enhancing bilateral relations between Qatar and these countries, focusing on cooperation in financial, economic, investment, and trade sectors. The meetings also touched on key developments and mutual interests.
The AIIB annual meeting serves as a platform for member countries to discuss infrastructure investment and economic development.
