Five Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Occupation Airstrikes on Gaza

Gaza: Five Palestinians were martyred, and several others injured in Israeli occupation airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip on Thursday.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that one Palestinian was martyred after an Israeli occupation drone struck a vehicle in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. The sources also stated that another Palestinian was martyred, and several others were injured in an airstrike on a tent sheltering displaced people in the port area west of Gaza City. A third Palestinian was martyred by Israeli fire in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood southeast of the city.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that five people were injured in an Israeli strike on the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, which coincided with an advance by Israeli tanks along Al-Sikka Street. It further noted that two Palestinians were killed in a separate airstrike targeting the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Overnight, Israeli occupation forces issued evacuation orders covering residential blocks and neighborhoods in the central Gaza Strip, including Bureij, Maghazi, and Nuseirat refugee camps, as well as the city of Deir al-Balah. The areas were subsequently hit by intensive airstrikes that caused extensive damage and left several Palestinians injured.

According to health authorities in Gaza, the death toll from the Israeli military campaign in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,250, while 173,751 people have been injured.
