Manama, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee, commended the approach led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which established the principles of democracy and respect for public rights and freedoms, further solidifying Bahrain's leadership as a model of the rule of law and constitutional institutions. Al Zayani highlighted Bahrain's advancements in human rights and digital transformation under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He pointed to Bahrain's expanding political participation, media freedoms, and the role of institutions such as the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) and the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) in protecting rights. He also recognised Bahrain's global standing in ICT development and cybersecurity, aligned with the 2030 Economic Vision.
