Doha: HE Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi engaged in discussions with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, Gan Kim Yong, focusing on enhancing cooperation and sharing expertise in the economic, commercial, cultural, and scientific sectors between GCC countries and Singapore.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting took place on Wednesday during the 55th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum 2025. The dialogue aimed at bolstering the relationship between the two regions, building on the free trade agreement signed in 2008. This agreement is designed to strengthen economic and commercial ties, while also ensuring the strategic relationships in economic, commercial, and investment domains are robust and mutually beneficial.
